    Up for Sale is a wonderful Landscape created from the Cuttings of a Japanese Kimono
    Ca. 1950S
    The textile probably dates to the 1880s-1890s
    Lovely large giltwood frame with rounded corner
    A pastel-colored landscape with birds and flowers created from pieces of a Japanese silk kimono.
    It may have suffered damp damage or "shattering" from over-exposure to sunlight and such elements as could be salvaged have been pieced together
    Definitely a very unique piece.
