I know it's so rare it can't be possible,but my job as a picker is to hunt the rare and then connect the dots as to the what,where and when. I am guessing it's a cigar ashtray,but the high and low glaze ridges on the edge suggest thats what it was meant to be,but you can call it whatever you like when you become the new owner. Wouldn't it be great if it were marked,but with most rare it isn't and you have to go with what facts you have and the looks. In excellent condition showing no defects or hidden repairs. It stands 1 1/4" tall 9" long and 6 1/2" wide. Just a great piece to rub the different levels of glaze and wonder what was going through Dr. Parmalee mind when this was produced... Don't be afraid if you're not 100% satisfied with this item once it's in your hands you can return it for a full refund my job is to get it back into the hands of someone who will display it proudly and get it back into the world of light..
